We are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in advancing sustainability in Colombia with the successful launch and inaugural meeting of the Colombian Cleantech Cluster – Cluster Cleantech Colombia. Held on May 31st in Bogota, this event brought together industry representatives, university researchers, entrepreneurs, NGO representatives, and Colombian public entities to establish a collaborative network aimed at driving the development and adoption of cleantech solutions across the country.
The first meeting of “Cluster Cleantech Colombia” was a resounding success, marked by the enthusiastic participation of prominent organizations such as Andi Visión 3030, INVEMAR, the Bogotá District Environmental Secretariat, University of the Andes, Universidad EAFIT, Universidad de La Salle, Universidad El Bosque, VALOPES, Fundación Socya, Empresas Públicas de Medellín – EPM, and The Consumer Goods Forum. Together, these organizations have joined forces, unified by their commitment to environmental protection and the transition to a greener future.
As part of the Cleantech Colombia cluster, these organizations will collectively explore opportunities and challenges in renewable energy, sanitation, circular economy, food and beverages, and the maritime coast. By pooling resources, expertise, and knowledge, they aim to drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of clean technologies throughout the country.
Cleantech Colombia takes pride in fostering an inclusive platform that welcomes diverse voices and values various perspectives. By promoting collaboration and synergy among industry players, the cluster aims to inspire positive environmental change and become a driving force in Colombia’s sustainable future. The inaugural meeting signifies the beginning of an exciting journey towards this ambitious goal.
